The Ten Points

1. Choose life.
2. Use the group as a source of strength.
3. Try to get a true understanding of our illness.
4. Try not to get depressed about being depressed.
5. Find solid, manageable ways of handling the illness.
6. Have a clear knowledge of the past but avoid living in it .
7. Turn depression and fear into positive action.
8. Be aware of others worse off and try to support them .
9. Use the telephone.
10. plan to go to the next meeting
